1. Creative Photo Decor (prettierworld.blogspot.com)
Grab an Instax Mini for some polaroid fun! You can even print your photos off of a online printing site (like Snapfish or Shutterfly) to hang up your memories, old and new!
2. Candle in a Bottle (ilovethisandthat.com / How-To)
Takes a little DIY, and maybe a page or two from an old favorite book, but the turnout is simple and stunning! Check out the how-to above.
3. Personalized Key Hanger
We suggest a little paint or fabric over a board/canvas and some industrial strength glue to keep the hooks together! If you want to get really crafty, you can also create a key hanger out of a photo frame. Nail some hooks to the lower part of the frame to create something personalized and interchangeable.

Truly the simplest necklace/ring holder one could ever create! Gather some long, thin, but sturdy branches to spray paint (our personal favorite is sparkly gold). Find a vase and voila!
9. Custom Headboards
If you have the luxury of creating your own headboard in your space, there are two ideas we personally love - The first idea is to create a scrapbook paper wall mosaic (as seen on the left). All you have to do is tape together the squares on the back and you’ll have a fun way to match your room! But if you’d like to go for an effortless approach, find a rug or tapestry that fits your style and hang it above your bed (see right)!
10. Eye-Catching Desk Backdrop (Ambrosia Creative How-To)
Although this is could be a bit more time-consuming than the other projects, this may be a fun thing to pull together when you catch some free time. Find out how to piece together this cool geometric piece from Ambrosia Creative! If you don’t want to go that route, an easy alternative is a chalkboard, whiteboard, or pin-board to fill up that wall space (and it sure is mighty useful).
11. Beer Bottle Glasses (366 Days of Pinterest How-To)
String, nail-polish remover, a lighter - This is a perfect way to reuse the bottles you may have lying around - winkwink. These are also great candle-holders and vases, too! If you’re nervous working with glass, get a friend to help out!
